Fine, I'll Run.

Today was supposed to be a self-imposed day off [from running] meaning I'd dust off the bike and go for a spin but my legs were feeling fine and Jim wanted to get something in. It's nice having someone just down the road who is always motivated. I'm trying to PR (significantly) at the half marathon so the more running the better. I'd like to be getting back up to 70 miles per week by November. There's also cycling base training that I'd like to start on the trainer early mornings. Lots of ideas for the winter...

So Jim came up and we opted for five miles via Daniel Ward Road with a pit stop at the Stacey/Ward cemetery which was worth the visit. The trails felt good and although our pace was slow, my body felt good. Looking like a predictable week: Tues: 8mi roads; Wed: track work (3x2mile); Thurs; AM 5/PM5; Friday: 8mi; Sat: 6.5 mile (HM); Sun 13 mile easy. This is land me at ~50mi.
