Muddy Madison Trails

After torrential rain all day with heavy winds, flooding, and blowdowns, it cleared up enough for a rainbow to pop out behind the farm. An obvious sign that I should go running instead of set the bike up on the trainer (I'll have all winter to do that). Actually, Jim pinged me for a run around this time and I said why not - legs were continually improving.

We (with Squall) ran the power lines behind the post office and looped on some overgrown trail that lead to a logging area. It was slow going but fun for a little bit. We spooked a deer but Squall didn't seem too phased. Soon we connected back to the railroad and ended at 4.5 miles. It was wet and muddy but a much better alternative than doing anything indoors.
