Backcountry Ski: 16.2 mi | 6,870'
The numbers don't really do this week justice. I was coming off a bad cold early in the week and was still able to motivate - however I did bail from bricking a bike off the run which was a missed goal. The training was quality though with a few tempo efforts mixed in: run workout (8x800m), going for the strava backcountry segment up to HoJo's (35min), and a rough go at nordic meisters in the howling wind and blowdowns. All efforts will payoff long term and I need more of that this winter to keep improving my fitness.
