Best training week this month! Finally back making progress with my running. Best workout of the week was at the track on Tuesday where I was able to do some 800s and 400s for the first time since bruising my sacrum. The intervals went great - faster than my last speed workouts with just the right amount of hurt. The next step is consistency and I'll be heading back to the track on Wednesday to continue the interval training. In addition, this was my biggest run week of the year. I'll be making an effort to get a minimum of 50 miles per week in from here on out which still includes biking a couple times per week plus a few more ski days.
Other highlights included Saturday's Run/Bike/Run showing Hilary the Inferno course (Glen Ledge and Pinkham). I wasn't going too hard on the run but on the bike it's impossible not to feel the burn. It was my first bike outside since October and although I don't fully enjoy biking in general it was a gorgeous day to be outside. The last run we went back up Glen Ledge which was tough but was a critical effort that will pay dividends come race day.
A few pictures from the week plus a video edit I did for our Fischer trip.
